Supporting children with autism in Afghanistan through care, compassion, and hope.
AFIA is the first initiative dedicated solely to supporting children with autism in Afghanistan. We strive to alleviate suffering, restore dignity, and bring hope to the poorest families caring for autistic children.
The Autism Foundation in Afghanistan (AFIA) is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to supporting autistic children throughout Afghanistan. Our mission begins with the poorest of the poor—families who have no access to services, resources, or recognition for their children’s needs.
We provide direct financial support, practical tools, caregiver training, and essential materials to help poor families improve the daily lives of their children.
At AFIA, we believe that every child—regardless of circumstance—deserves compassion, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive.
